Starvac, a major player in the development of natural, non-invasive and painless skin care techniques, has developed a new generation of Cellular Stretching® devices, twice as effective as palpating and rolling. We talk about it in the issue 715 of Nouvelles Esthétiques.
All the explanations with Michel Lipoff, Starvac’s Worldwide Sales Director.

PALPATE-ROLL WORKS ON A SINGLE SKIN FOLD, CELLULAR STRETCHING® ON TWO FOLDS

CELLULAR STRETCHING VS. PALPATE-ROLL

In theory
The mechanical or motorized palpate-roll consists of the mobilization and mechanization of a tissue fold of variable depth. Starvac was the first French company to manufacture palpating and rolling devices in 1972. Our expertise has enabled us to observe that, depending on the treatment power used, tissue stimulation is more superficial or deep. In other words, if you use a relatively low power treatment, you are targeting the dermis and stimulating the fibroblast, the youth cell responsible for collagen and elastin production. On the other hand, if you increase the power of the treatment, the level of action is located more on the hypodermis, soliciting more particularly the adipocytes, the cells of slimming, allowing to naturally activate lipolysis, the destocking of fats.
Therefore, depending on the intensity of the treatment chosen, the tissue stimulation will be essentially superficial or deep. Based on this observation, we have developed new patented treatment heads capable of generating a double tissue fold, the principle of Cellular Stretching®. The idea is to work simultaneously on two skin folds of varying depth for both superficial and deep action. The advantage of this new technique is to stimulate the fibroblast and the adipocyte at the same time, for a firming and slimming treatment.

On the client’s side
The Cellular Stretching® method is absolutely painless because it uses a system of three non-motorized rollers, which allows for a gentle, and therefore pleasant, tissue grip. It is currently the only method that can treat all skin types, including the most fragile ones such as stretch marks!

The results
Whether the palpate-roll is mechanical or motorized, it mobilizes only one skin fold and therefore reproduces, in a constant and regular way, the manual palpate-roll. In other words, this technique is reproducible by hand. Conversely, Cellular Stretching
® mobilizes two skin folds simultaneously, which is impossible to reproduce manually.
The idea of course is not to replace the hand but rather to give it the possibility to be even more efficient, without constraint or fatigue.
We continue to manufacture mechanical palpation devices that we export to 75 countries! Nevertheless, the demand for this type of equipment is clearly decreasing in favor of the Cellular Stretching devices
® for which the demand is constantly increasing. Beauty professionals have understood the difference and the many benefits of Cellular Stretching® vs. palpate-roll .

Different specific treatment heads
The Cellular Stretching® method can only be achieved with the exclusive EVO3D and EVOSPHERE heads. The first one is used to work the whole body, while the second one allows to focus, freehand, on the rebellious zones, resistant to the exercise and the food hygiene. It is also easy and convenient to adapt the treatment according to the morphotype. For example, it will be possible to offer 15-minute express treatments with the EVOSPHERE heads to solve a specific problem in specific areas and/or a global treatment for the entire body. body with the EVO3D head.

The different Cellular Stretching® machines

The latest model, the DXlight, is very compact and light and has been developed to provide home care in particular. It completes the DX range with the DXsmart and the DXtwin.

100% handmade!
Cellular Stretching® has been designed and developed to accompany all beauty professionals, especially those who enjoy manual treatments. The treatment heads are very light, easy to handle, and fit perfectly in the hand. You will be able to work with both hands by integrating the use of Starvac treatment heads, which is not the case with the motorized palpate-roll. This complementarity will allow you to carry out a more precise manual work, less tiring and much more effective for fast and durable results.

The opinion of the beauticians
The Congress was an opportunity to meet a large number of beauticians and to get their feedback on the use of our new Cellular Stretching® treatment heads. Here’s what the vast majority of them told us:
“It’s rewarding to be able to stay very holistic in a manual therapy while using a Starvac device.”
“With your treatment heads the hand continues to act, we keep our manual practice”.
“It is very nice to be able to use a combinatorial cosmetic during the treatment”.
“Cellular Stretching® allows us to feel the treatment and visualize the reaction of the tissue as we practice.”
“It’s easy to use and does things the hand can’t.”

The combination of technologies for maximum results
The financial aspect has also become very important for both beauty professionals and consumers. Cellular Stretching equipment® are offered at very affordable prices, which allows our customers to invest in other complementary technologies at the same time. It is indeed the combination of care techniques that brings a maximum of results in a minimum of time. Thus, after a cryo or radiofrequency session, it is essential to soften the treated tissues. Cellular Stretching® is the ideal answer to complement these treatments.
